Various menu options are required to be able to perform standard functions, for example viewing, creating and editing reports. Other options are available to enable individual business areas.
📌Note: All menu options are available for selection in menu profiles that
include the CorePortal system.
Standard functions
The following menu options are required to be able to view, create and edit reports as well as to delete and clone them.

Business areas
📌Note: This access is only required for users that are creating or editing reports.
Menu options control access to the business areas available for reporting. Each business area has a corresponding menu option. If the relevant menu option is not enabled, the business area will not appear in the Current Data Views filter when creating or editing a report.
No additional permissions are required for the corresponding views. For example, if a user has access to the CorePersonnel business area, they automatically have access to all views within it. The only exception is LOV views.

Access to LOV views
A number of business areas include LOV views. These are used to create a list of values reports for reference data items for the corresponding product. To view these, an additional menu option must be enabled. Once assigned, you gain access to all LOV views within the business areas available to you.
