If you see a 'Get Params' error or an 'Access Denied' message in PeopleXD, you can usually fix it by turning on the Get Params option in the Menu Profile assigned to your user. Before you start, you'll need permission to manage Menu Profiles in PeopleXD.
Why this happens
The error usually means the Get Params option isn't turned on in the Menu Profile assigned to the affected users. This can happen when Web Services permissions are missing from that profile.
Resolve the error
Follow these steps to turn on the Get Params option in the Menu Profile assigned to your users.
Click Security, then click Menu Profiles.
Identify the Menu Profile assigned to the affected users.
If you're unsure, consult your system administrator to confirm the correct profile.
Click the three-dot menu next to the identified Menu Profile, then click Manage Menu Options.
Use the filter icon to set Filter By System to "All", then click Apply. Search for "Get Params" or "WS_PAYROLL_MENU.GET_PARAMS" in the list of options.
Turn on the Get Params toggle to set it to Active.
If the error persists for users who were already logged in, ask them to refresh the page, or log out and log back in to clear their session.
