Error - 'PER621-002: Leave Date Cannot be Less Than the Appointment Sequence Start Date'

On Appointment Details screen, when End Appointment is selected and updated, the message - 'PER621-002: Leave date cannot be less than the Appointment Sequence Start Date' appears. Appears in portal as 'Leaving Date cannot be before Start Date'

The end date is before the appointment ID start date

  1. Select Personnel, Personal Profile, Post Profile.

  2. Highlight commenced appointment ID you want to end.

  3. Click View Appointment to see the current sequence of the employee's post. Note down the start date of this Post and exit the screen.

  4. Either click End Appointment in Personnel or go to HR Admin on the portal. Ensure Employee Resignation and Effective Date/Leaving Date are after the start date noted down on the View Appointment screen.

  5. OK.
