To rehire or rejoin an employee in the back office, follow the steps below.
Click CorePersonnel, then click Maintenance.
Select Personal Profile, then click New Appointments.
On the Posts tab, query for Authorised Post Appointment and click Select.
Search for an existing employee.
🤓Tip: The employee, if dormant in CorePersonnel, will appear in the results panel with a Rehire status.
Click Select for the specific employee.
Update Personal, Post and Pay information for the employee.
This appointment will now be at an Appointed stage.
The appointment can now be commenced.
⚠️Important: Ending and rehiring must be done separately. A rehire can't be processed until the employee is fully dormant, i.e., a Complete Update has been processed for the pay group they're leaving.
