When a back office user receives the message 'ORA-01045: user [username] lacks CREATE SESSION privilege' whilst connecting to the service, this is usually due to their account not having a database profile assigned. To rectify this in the portal, follow the steps below.
From the dashboard menu, in the search bar, enter and select Security.
Click on User Management, then select All Back Office Accounts from the drop-down menu.
Enter the account username in Search users, then click the magnifying glass icon.
π€Tip: If unsure of the username, you can search by their name or personnel number.
Click the three-dot icon against the user record, then select Manage Account.
Click General, then select Database Profile to be either End User or Manager.
