To configure a CorePersonnel Back Office user there are up to three stages.
Configure Personnel Access in System Users (access to employees).
If applicable, configure Post Management User Security access. This is only applicable to sites using Post Management.
If applicable, configure additional access. Certain areas of functionality in CorePersonnel may require additional access per user (e.g. diversity data, recruitment, etc.).
π€Tip: You can provide a user with similar access in the portal.
Personnel access configuration
In CorePersonnel, click Reference, Reference Q - Z, and select System Users.
Select Back Office Accounts and find the user from the List of Values (LOV).
Select Security Type as PERS - Personnel Access.
Select the required Structure Code.
Select the level of the Organisation Structure which determines the employee information the user will have access to. For example:
Selecting Company grants user access to all employees in that Company.
Selecting Department grants access to certain Departments in the Company.
Click Show Access.
Under Access Granted tick the box for the Access Codes that the user will have access to.
Click Save.
Post management user security configuration
In CorePersonnel, go to Maintenance.
Select Post Management, then select Post Management User Security.
Scroll to the relevant user or search for them via the query mode.
Grant the user access to the following options as required:
Authorise Appointment.
Appoint a Person.
End Appointment.
Amend Appointment.
Click on the Save icon.
Configure additional access
In CorePersonnel, click Reference, Reference Q - Z, and select System Users. This can also be accessed in the portal in Security, Set Up tab, System Users.
Select Back Office Accounts and find the user from the List of Values (LOV).
Use the Security Type field, to select the functional area.
The following options are available for selection:
Diversity Access: Grants access to the Diversity screen in Person Profile.
Document Access: Used for Document Management access.
Letter Template Access: Used to generate letters in separate structures.
Personnel Access: Required for viewing employee details.
Process Access: Required for Workflow.
Recruitment Access: Used in conjunction with the CoreRecruitment module.
Salary Access: Required for salary access.
Sensitive Department Access: Users should be granted this access separately from Department access.
Training Access: Used for the CoreTraining module.
User Defined Access: Used to grant access to User Defined Fields where the Security Required option has been ticked on.
Click Show Access.
Tick on the relevant access. The screen options may change depending on the item selected.
Click Save.
