Reset an account password

Reset the password for a user's portal or back office account

If a user has forgotten their password credentials for their portal or back office account, or they've expired, they can be reset in PeopleXD Security. To do this, follow the steps below.

πŸ“ŒNote: A different password reset process is followed if users connect to PeopleXD via Access Evo.

  1. From the dashboard menu, in the search bar, enter and select Security.

  2. Click on User Management.

  3. From the drop-down menu, select All Active Portal Accounts or All Back Office Accounts.

  4. Enter the account username in Search users, then click the magnifying glass icon.

    πŸ€“Tip: If unsure of the username, you can search by their name or personnel number.

  5. Click the three-dot menu against the user record, then select Manage Account.

  6. Click ACTIONS, then select Reset Password.

  7. Enter a new password that complies with the password policy, then click OK.

πŸ“ŒNote: To reset your password, contact a super user. The Access support team can’t reset user passwords. If you’re unsure who your super user is, contact your Access Account Manager or Customer Success Manager for this information.
