For new users, if self-registration is being used to activate PeopleXD Portal accounts, the registration email is generated by an overnight activation job. If the email has not been delivered the next day, please check the following.
Ask the employee to check their 'Junk' and 'Spam' folders to check if the Self Registration email is present.
Check if the Employees email address is valid.
Check if the Self Registration Email Log for the employee is present on the expected date.
Go to Security.
Click on Self Registration.
Click Open next to Email Log Cleardown.
Check the Self Registration Email Log for the employee on the expected date.
Check the email queue to view if the email has been sent to the employee's email address.
Go to People Management.
Click on Data Centre.
Click View All.
Search for View Email Queue under Employee Administration.
Search for the respective email address of the employee and check if Processed is Y.
If Y, click on VIEW.
Check the respective fields such as 'To User Email', 'Email Subject' and 'Process Message'
It's possible to manually generate the self-registration email for individual users.
People Management, Employee Search.
Click ACTIONS, then select Grant Portal Access.
This will generate an email for that user and they won't have to wait for the overnight job
Also, make sure that the correct work email address is added to the user Contact Information/Personnel profile, so the system to trigger the notification to the correct email address.
