Portal: Enable access to Insight

Grant the user access to Insight and assign them the appropriate permissions to view employee records.

To grant a user access to Insight and ensure they can view the correct employee records, follow the steps below.

Assign Insight access

  1. Go to Security, User Management.

  2. Find the employee with the search function.

  3. Click on the 3-dot menu option and select 'Manage Account'.

  4. Select Menu Profile.

  5. Using the search button, find the COREPORTAL_INSIGHT menu profile.

  6. Tick the active button.

Configure employee record access

  1. Go to People Management, Data Centre, View All.

  2. Search HR User Access and select.

  3. Enter the employee username or reference number and assign the appropriate personnel access by company, department, etc.

  4. Use the dropdown option under the 'Security Type' field to view the module type options and turn on as desired.

    • If you assign at the company level, the user will see all employees in the company.

    • If you assign at a department level, the user will see employees in the assigned departments.

  5. Changes will save automatically once the toggle is switched 'on' for each option.
