There may be times that you need to remove a contract or contract amendment from an employee, for example, where it has been added it in error.
Note: You will need the required permissions to do this.
Delete a contract
To delete a contract it can't be the only contract or the substantive contract. If this is the case you'll need to switch the post instead.
Note: Once you've deleted the contract, you can't restore it.
To delete a contract watch the video or follow the steps below:
On the People Management dashboard click the Command Centre tab.
Next to Employee, click VIEW.
Search for the employee and click VIEW.
Click the Contracts tab.
Note: If the employee has multiple contracts, select the relevant one from the drop-down menu.
In the Summary section expand the contracts three-dot menu.
Click Delete Contract then OK.
Delete a contract amendment
To delete the latest sequence of a contract, watch the video or follow the steps below:
Go to the employee's record.
Click the Contracts tab.
Note: If the employee has multiple contracts, select the relevant one from the drop-down menu.
In the Amendments section click VIEW next to the latest sequence.
Click DELETE then YES.
