There may be times when you need to remove a contract or contract amendment from an employee's record - for example, if it was added in error. To do this, follow the steps outlined in the relevant section below.โ
๐Note: You will need the appropriate permissions to carry out these actions.
Delete a contract
To delete an entire contract from an employee's record, watch the video or follow the steps below.
โ ๏ธImportant: You can't remove a contract if it's the only or substantive contract - you'll need to switch the post instead. Once a contract is deleted, it can't be restored.
From the dashboard menu, click People Management.
Under Command Centre, next to Employee, click VIEW.
Search for the relevant employee, then click VIEW.
Click Contracts, then click the three-dot menu for the relevant contract.
๐Note: If the employee has multiple contracts, select the relevant one from the drop-down menu.
Select Delete Contract, then click OK to confirm deletion.
Delete a contract amendment
To delete the latest sequence of a contract, watch the video or follow the steps below.
From the dashboard menu, click People Management.
Under Command Centre, next to Employee, click VIEW.
Search for the relevant employee, then click VIEW.
Click Contracts, then click VIEW next to the latest sequence under Amendments.
๐Note: If the employee has multiple contracts, select the relevant one from the drop-down menu.
Click DELETE, then click YES to confirm.
