System Reminders can be generated for any user of the system.
Any role set up on the system through Personnel numbers.
Individual emails.
Group emails.
Persons on the system with an assigned Oracle login.
Examples of this include:
Informing I.T. that a new person is about to commence in the organisation.
Informing managers or HR of changes to a person's Department or impending expiry date.
A diary entry is generated in the system for the users and they will be reminded of the event at a specified number of days prior to the employee's start date. Alternatively, an email is sent to a recipient so they can act on it accordingly. When the user logs onto the system, the user will be prompted to view their current reminders if any exist. Reminders can also be viewed through the system at any time.

Accessing Event Management System:

The Event Management System can be accessed through the main CoreHR screen by selecting CoreHR, Event Management. There are five main options under Event Management relating to EMS.
EMS Parameter Maintenance: Used to set up the parameters for the reminder system.
EMS User Maintenance: Used to store the usernames for the reminder system.
EMS Event Clear Down: Used to clear down existing reminders.
EMS Enquiry: Used to query existing reminders.
HR Event Configuration: The Main EMS setup screen where the reminders are configured.
