To create a widget from a report, follow the steps below.
Within Insight, go to the report in question.
Select Edit Mode.
Go to Settings.
Enable Make data available as widget.
Go to Dashboard Configuration.
Select the dashboard to add this widget to, search for it in Tab Widgets section.
Once the widget is enabled it will be available on the dashboard you assigned.
If a report should be for the managers only, you can select Manager Direct Reports in the report's Access Type (Settings). Then the data in the report should be displayed only in regards to employees from the work group(s) for which the manager has the 'Reports To' organisation role.
