To create a widget from a report, follow these steps. You can either create reports from scratch or clone existing ones before converting them into widgets. This flexibility allows you to customize both the report structure and data visualization to meet specific business needs.
From the dashboard menu, click Insight.
Go to the report in question then select Edit Mode.
Click Settings then enable Make data available as widget.
Go to Dashboard Configuration.
Select the dashboard where you want to add the widget, and search for it in the Tab Widgets section.
Once you enable the widget, it will appear on the assigned dashboard.
Before you enable the report as a widget, ensure it includes the necessary data by finalizing its filters and columns. Check these settings to guarantee seamless integration into your dashboard.
πNote: If a report is intended for managers only, select Manager Direct Reports in the report's Access Type(Settings). This setting restricts the data to employees within the work group(s) for which the manager holds the 'Reports To' organization role.
