Where an employee's manager differs from the work group manager as configured in Maintain Organisational Roles, it is possible to override the manager. To do this, follow the steps below.
Portal
The parameter Allow Override needs to be ticked in People Management, Data Centre, HR Admin Setup Settings, System Parameters, Reporting To section.
Reports to Manager can then be changed in People Management, Command Centre, Employees, query employee, View, Manager tab, Manager Widget, Edit.
Back Office
The parameter Allow Override needs to be ticked in CorePersonnel, Reference, Reference Q-Z, System Parameters.
Reports to Manager can then be changed in CorePersonnel, Maintenance, Personal Profile, Contracts/Post Profile/Appointment Details.
