Update employee bank details

The access required for an HR administrator to update an employee's bank details, and the process to follow when making the amendments.

An employee’s bank details are considered sensitive information. Administrators must have the appropriate permissions enabled before they can update this data.

Assign access to an employee's bank details

  1. In portal Security, click on Menu Profile.

  2. Select relevant HR Admin Menu Profile.

  3. On three dots click on Manage menu options.

  4. Search bank details in the search bar

  5. Ensure the CorePortal - Employee Bank Details Pay Update and CorePortal - Employee Bank Details Pay View are ticked on.


Adding bank details to an employee's record

  1. Go to People Management Dashboard.

  2. Query the Employee and click on View.

  3. In the Top right corner click on actions, Personal Profile.

  4. Update Bank details and save.
