The system does not permit changes to the allowance reason code or comments when ending an allowance with an Approved status. If an allowance was migrated without a reason code or comments, and either field is mandatory, you will be unable to end it. To resolve this, follow the steps below.
From the dashboard menu, enter Data Centre in the search bar and select it.
Click OPEN next to HR Admin Setup Settings, then click System Parameters - Advanced.
If enabled, click Amendment Reason Required and Amendment Comments Required.
Click SAVE.
