How to edit the content of an EMS notifcation Back Office

The text on an EMS notification needs updating, how can this be changed.

If you need to edit the contents, message or subject of an existing EMS notifcation please see below steps, dependent on whether you are using Portal or Backoffice.

  1. Go to CoreHR, click the CoreHR menu, scroll to Event Management, and open Hr Event Configuration

  2. Select Event Category

  3. Click on Edit next to the Event Type you need to configure

  4. Use the Configure Subject and Configure Message buttons to configure the notification subject and body - for each select the view from the Select Data Source dropdown, insert your Subject Text and Message Text, and add the Available Items as required

  5. Ensure that the Active Indicator is selected and click on Save Changes
