Back Office: Validate organisational hierarchy structure

On the Maintain Organisational Hierarchy screen, the checks that can be made to ensure that the hierarchy is set up correctly.

To validate organisational hierarchy structure, follow the steps below.

  1. Click CorePersonnel, then click Maintenance.

  2. Select Post Management, then click Organisational Hierarchy.

    Maintain Hierarchy Structure screen opens with a list of existing structures.

    πŸ“ŒNote: Follow up with support if the following apply.

    • A structure code does not exist.

    • Date Applied or Effective Date are blank.

  3. For the structure code, click Edit.

    The Add New Hierarchy Structure screen will appear.

  4. Check that as a minimum, the following fields are included in the Org Structure.

    • Company (ORGZ).

    • Management Unit (MGTU).

    • Department (DEPT).

    • Cost Centre (COST).

    • Location (LOC).

    • Work Group (WRKGRP).

  5. Check that as a minimum, the Hierarchy Indicator is enabled for the top level.
