Org Chart: Details that can be displayed on an employee card

Details that can be included on the employee card in the organisational chart.

The employee card in the org chart includes the following information.


Org Level

The organisational level displayed on the employee card defaults to department. To amend it to another level follow the steps below.

  1. Go to the Administrator Dashboard.

  2. Click on the Site Manager.

  3. Open Admin Settings.

  4. Search for cp_org_structure_element.

  5. Update the value with the code for another structure level, e.g. LOC for Location.

  6. Click OK.


Contact Type

There are two parameters, that control the display and choice of contact type on the org chart cards.

Update Contact Type

To display a different contact type on the employee card, i.e. instead of the home phone number, follow the steps below.

๐Ÿ“ŒNote: For this parameter to take effect, the home phone number must first be set to display.

  1. Go to the Administrator Dashboard.

  2. Click on the Site Manager tab.

  3. Open Admin Settings.

  4. Search for cp_org_contact_type.

  5. Edit the parameter.

  6. Update the value with the code for a different level e.g. MOBILE for work mobile phone.

  7. Click OK.

Show home phone number

This option must be set to ensure that a contact type can be displayed, rather than the employeeโ€™s extension. To display the default contact type of home phone number, Follow the steps below.

  1. Go to the Administrator Dashboard.

  2. Click on the Site Manager tab.

  3. Open Admin Settings.

  4. Search for cp_org_show_home_no.

  5. Edit the parameter.

  6. Update the value to Y.

  7. Click OK.
