Locking or unlocking a user's account

How to disable a user from accessing the system or re-enable a locked account

A users account access can be disabled by locking it, alternatively it can be unlocked for the access to be reinstated. Follow the below steps.

πŸ“ŒNote: This task would normally be performed by your site's system administrator or super user.

Unlock or lock a portal account

  1. Login to CorePortal.

  2. Using the keyword search / quick jump option at the top of the screen, type and select User Management.

  3. Query the employee and select All Active Portal Accounts from the dropdown.

  4. Click on three dots and select Manage Account.

  5. Toggle the Locked option to either Lock or Unlock the account.

Unlock or lock a back office account

  1. Login to CorePortal.

  2. Using the keyword search / quick jump option at the top of the screen, type and select User Management.

  3. Query the employee and select All Back Office Accounts from the dropdown.

  4. Click on three dots and select Manage Account.

  5. Toggle the Locked option to either Lock or Unlock the account.
