Grant access to delete an employee

Enable the Delete Person functionality for a user by assigning the appropriate menu option.

In order to grant access to this option the menu options below need to be enabled on one of the user's menu profiles:

​Update .
People > Update (Web Services)
​
​Update . Proxy (Pers Post Access)
People > Update . Proxy (Pers Post Access)
​

📌Note: The dot that follows the word 'Update' in the menu option names is intended, the space and dot are included in the names.

Please follow the below steps to enable a menu option on Portal.

  1. Go to Security.

  2. Click on the Menu Profiles tab.

  3. Find the relevant menu profile.

  4. Click on 3 dots ellipsis and choose Manage Menu Options.

  5. Find the relevant menu option and toggle the Active switch on.

If this action doesn't save the change on a menu profile, e.g. while enabling the toggle is on, but after leaving the screen and coming back it's switched off, please follow the workaround below.

  1. Search the menu option from its code.

  2. Code for 'Update .' menu option - 60f50bfd526db2cd447dac33bb3a4326.

  3. Code for 'Update . Proxy (Pers Post Access)' menu option - ecb29a32e1f469d8f96d4d10f7fe1287.

  4. Click on Enable All.

    📌Note: Using above, only one menu option is found so using the Enable All button only enables the one displayed on the screen.
