Error displays in Notification Centre when a mail merge document is generated for an employee. ORA-29532: Java call terminated by uncaught Java exception: java.lang.ExceptionInInitializerError

To overcome the error message, follow the steps below:

  1. Check the mail merge template document for images.

  2. Ensure they are all of the type GIF, and then generate the document again.

  3. If the error continues to display, change all the images to type PNG.

  4. Generate the document again.

  5. Document template must be .doc rather than .docx.
