Error - 'Validation has failed, you have entered an invalid combination' when registering an email address

When a user is registering an account on portal, when they put in their email address and attempt to progress, they are unable to due to the the Error: 'Validation has failed, you have entered an invalid combination'.

There may be a record already existing with this email address associated with a previous account.

A support analyst will need to look at the database to determine where the duplicate record is coming from.
