Portal: Incorrect post title, job title, or department

Job title looks correct in the back office but is incorrect in the portal, the previous title is displayed. Incorrect appointments details shown in Insight. Employee start date does not match continuous service started date when they should be the same.

This can be due to the record not being updated on Substantive Maintenance screen. This update can be only done in Backoffice in:

  1. In CorePersonnel navigate to:​​​​​​

  2. Maintenance, Post management, Substantive maintenance.

  3. Add record with current commenced appointment.

If record is already there then:

  • Change the substantive date to one day ahead and then change it back again to original one e.g. if substantive date is 01-NOV-2018 change it to 02-NOV-2018 and save then change it back to 01-NOV-2018.

  • This will update the HR record and refresh the data and the Job title will reflect correct on Portal as well.

Please note that if the above does not resolve your issue, you will need to raise a case with support referencing the title of this article. Support may need to refresh the data.
