The ability for employees to update their Known As Details such as Forename, Middle Name, Surname, Title, Known As is controlled by the following two menu options:
CorePortal - Employee Employee Name Update
Update knownas
The above menu options need to be disabled on any of the menu profiles which are added to an employee's portal accounts. The functionality enables the following options.
Update all - forename and surname & known as.
Update just forename and surname.
Unable to update either.
📌Note: There is no functionality to allow users to update their 'known as' only and not their forename and surname.
