Portal: Release a system lock

Kill a user session to release a system lock or rectify an 'incorrect lock removed' message.

A network outage or an incorrect logout has caused a function to become locked and unavailable. To resolve this, follow the steps below.

  1. From the dashboard menu, enter Security in the search bar and select it.

  2. Click Back Office Sessions, then click VIEW ALL.

  3. Click Status, then select Sort Ascending.

    πŸ€“Tip: This will group sessions by status type, making it easier to scroll and identify the affected sessions.

  4. Click KILL SESSION on the relevant sessions.
