Reporting on surveys using Insight
To facilitate reporting on surveys, special survey views exist in Insight only.
When a survey is created, a dynamic view is created for Insight with the same name as the survey.
If the name of the survey is 'New Job Survey', then the view in Insight will be 'New Job Survey (Personnel)'.
You will also have to include the HR PERSON MASTER view with fields person reference, forename and surname so you can see what employees the survey answers are linked to.
Reporting on surveys using an external reporting tool
When linked to PeopleXD database via an external reporting tool, it is usually possible to view all views and tables and use them for reporting purposes. However, it is not possible to see/use the survey views above as they exist only in Insight. The table where the survey data is held is available i.e. cp_custom_forms.
As Insight has a specially configured views, it might be best to use Insight for reporting purposes.
How to report on surveys
Surveys can be created in Social Hub Configuration and included in Onboarding/Offboarding checklists. How do you report on these surveys when using Insight ? How do you report on these surveys when using an external reporting tool?
