Log ideas for product development

Submitting a new feature idea in PeopleXD and tracking its progress.

Do you have a new feature in mind that you'd like to see in PeopleXD? Or perhaps you'd like to suggest improvements to an existing feature? If so then head over to your Aha! Ideas Portal and share your thoughts with us.

Weโ€™re committed to reviewing all ideas on a regular basis. Each idea remains open for voting for six months. At the end of this period, we either accept or close all outstanding ideas. This helps us keep the portal user-friendly and ensures that new ideas remain visible and relevant.

To help you log your request on the ideas portal and understand its journey, watch our video or follow the below steps.

  1. Sign in using your work email address.

    ๐Ÿค“Tip: If you don't already have an account, click Sign up. Alternatively, get in touch with your account manager.

  2. Click ADD A NEW IDEA, then select a workspace.

  3. Under Your Idea, enter a one sentence summary, then add more details.

    ๐Ÿค“Tip: The system will identify any similar ideas, you can vote for one of them instead.

  4. Under Describe the Challenge, specify the issue this will help you overcome.

  5. To upload relevant files, click Attach files, browse for your file, then click Open.

  6. Click ADD IDEA. Your idea is now logged, and you can monitor its status.


Aha! status types

The table below identifies all the statuses your idea can have during its journey.

Under review

Once you submit your idea, we review it, make a decision and update its status.

๐Ÿ“ŒNote: Ideas with this status aren't visible on the ideation portal until the Product team has reviewed and updated them.

Open for Voting

We reviewed the idea, and itโ€™s now open for anyone to vote on for a period of six months.

Added To Product Backlog

The idea has been added to our product roadmap backlog. We will endeavour to address the challenge outlined by the submitter.

Now Available

The idea has been promoted to a feature and implemented.

Already Planned

This idea is already included in a future roadmap.

Closed - Already Exists

This functionality already exists.

Closed - Will Not Implement

We have decided not to promote this idea to a feature and will not implement it.

Closed - Not Applicable

This idea will not be taken forward.

How many accounts can we have?

You can have an unlimited number of accounts for your organisation.

Is there a predefined number of votes I can use?

You have an unlimited number of votes available per portal.

Can I vote multiple times?

You can vote for an idea once.

What happens with my idea after submission?

We review ideas regularly and update their status. To view your idea's status, click My ideas.

I use multiple products, how do I use Aha!?

You have a dedicated URL for each product. Due to the design of the Aha! Portal, you can use the same email address for all portals. However, they are treated as separate accounts.

How can I find existing ideas?

Once you log into your account, you can see everyone's ideas. To find a specific idea, use the search function.


How can I vote on existing ideas?

Voting on an idea lets us know this is something important to your organisation and helps us understand which ideas are popular. To vote, click VOTE next to the idea description. We can see which companies have voted and may contact you if we need further details.

How can I comment on an idea?

To add a comment, search for the existing idea and click Add a comment to join the discussion.
